Over all not to bad. Was very disappointed in the color I was expecting a yellow one. If that is yellow it's a shade of yellow I've never seen before, The fret work was somewhat weak( sharp ends) . Playability was ok I'm just I little ways past an advanced beginner so action seemed a little high, however I expected that. I bought this guitar to learn how to work on guitars. OMG! I Wasn't Expecting This: I'm not a beginner. I'm 65 & have been playing since I was 9-years-old. I own over 30 electric guitars - a handful of them quite expensive, but buy inexpensive guitars mainly for ornamentation to hang on the walls or place in the guitar racks of my studio like many would spend money on pictures. I'll play them occasionally. This is my first Glarry & to my surprise, it is a beautiful green gem. It is by far the lightest electric guitar I've ever held. It has a 3 or 4-piece body (it's hard to tell) as opposed to more expensive guitars with one or two pieces, but it doesn't matter - it's gorgeous. Just a week earlier, I bought a more expensive blue Ibanez GRX70QA-TBB, and I think I like the looks of this one better. The construction is very good. I can find no flaws in fit or finish. However, it is a very inexpensive guitar & understandably compromises must be made to hit this price point - i.e. tuners, pickups, tremolo, nut, bridge, etc. I get annoyed at reviewers who complain about "cheap" cords, "cheap" tuners, etc. What are you expecting at this price? Want better? Spend more. The main thing to me is if it's playable or not. Knowing that quality between individual identical instruments in this price range can vary widely, this one is playable. Fret edges aren't sharp. I've bought more expensive guitars that shredded my fingers. Action is acceptable. Again, I've spent more $$$ on some that the string height was absurdly high - but you can always set up almost any guitar to your liking. Neck has a medium thickness. Pickups sound OK clean, but most folks are playing through effects anyway, so it's not a big deal. The ONLY complaint I have is the back of the neck. I love an unfinished/satin neck, which this one has, but it's a little rough. But it's easily correctible with a little light sanding with a super-fine-grit sandpaper. Overall, I'm absolutely amazed at this guitar at this price. Much, much more than I expected.

I think Glarry offers decent instruments at an affordable price. I have also bought tuners and while 1 of them was bad they gave me 1 to replace it so I can say the customer service was excellent.

Beautiful instrument. I bought it to flip the body and strings and make it a Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster. My gorgeous wife is left handed and will absolutely "rock" with this ax in her arms.

For cost of this guitar it doesn't matter what you want to do to or do to it. You can't beat it. Great for practice and if needed would work at a gig but def put better strings and tuning pegs and you are good to go. I am looking to buy a Glarry Telecaster next.

I am completely new to guitar this was my first one but I did alot of research and now am able to play 3 songs I have had the guitar for 7-8 days now nothing is broken and the guitar sounds alright it plays and tunes fine probably looses tune every 2-3 days the strings are something you're gonna need to replace day one this shouldn't be a guitar you buy for your kid who wants to learn this is a guitar you should buy if you're ready to tinker upgrade and trouble shoot basically learn all the ins ...

The strings and the cable are the only two things that really need to be replaced the cable gives alot of buzz and feed back and the strings bend when not tuned but after those small replacements it plays fine I would recommend not buying a 10W amp and just investing a little more money and atleast getting a 20W practice just so you can get close to a more "authentic" sound. With all that being said it's an amazing price for a instrument that plays and looks good while doing it. the jack input on my guitar was loose so I tightened it that was really the only issue overall I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase and don't think there's a better deal out there this is probably your best bet for a affordable electric guitar. TLDR: You're gonna have to buy a Good amp New strings a Better strap New Cable and Tighten/Loosen also level a few things to get a overall decent sounding Guitar but in my opinion it's worth it. Don't buy for your young kids.

Got full size recently and I was impressed.For the money it is incredible.The construction of the guitar and the finish was great.I didn't even have to change the strings.I definitely recommend this as a starter for anyone wanting to play guitar.

The green GTL style guitar feels better playing on the neck but this GST style guitar feels better in my lap, is more comfortable holding for long periods of time and has a broader overall tone. I am glad I bought both. Both came in perfect condition. Very pleased!

I can not believe the quality built into the guitar I received. It looks great and it will serve me well during my guitar learning journey. I got a ton of value for the money I spent.

I was pleasantly surprised. I changed out most everything on it (pup, bridge, keys, pickguard, all the electronics) but it's a great player & I use it for figuring out tunes with my computer. This is my second Glarry. Like the last one, it plays quite well once you set the action and intonation. Truss rod was already perfect. The body had some strange blemishes, paint imperfections that it looked like they tried to polish out. Not a huge deal though. There was also a strange rusty spot covering about 1/3 of the first fret, and the nut looks like it got mangled a bit during sizing. Honestly I do not expect perfection from a guitar at this price point. I am quite satisfied, although I ...

Guitar arrived early!! Was done nicely. Frets are all great and everything works as it should. Very good looking. Super light great for a young player. The only issue was one of the strap bolts had been overtightened and cracked the body a little. Still awesome for 80 bucks.
