Fantastic value. Wanted a P style Bass for the classic sound so put on a set of Flatwound strings, A quick tune up and lowered the action and I'm very impressed. Sounds great. Got my eye on the GIB model next!

I just got this Bass Wednesday/Yesterday. I bought this exact model 3 years ago and learned on that bass. Playing hours out of the day. You can definitely learn and gig with this bass. Most importantly the GP1 PRECISION BASS I bought 3 years was and is excellent but Glarry really made some improvements on this bass. Anybody from advance intermediate beyond or day one will love this bass. The neck is a noticeably chunkier than a Squire Precision or Fender which you can read in the descriptions of ...

It's a very good instrument for a beginner, with just a few little points knocking off that 5th star: The body is quite light while the neck and head contribute a significan heft, which does cause some awkward handling that can get uncomfortable after a while In addition, the pick-ups are quite short which can make then difficult to rest your thumb on Otherwise, I'm very impressed with what I recieved for the pricepoint

After all the glowing reviews and impressive youtube videos, I decided to give this a try. I wasn't expecting much for $90, but this was nothing like the basses I saw on youtube. The strings were unplayable. They felt like rat-tail files. The mounting holes for the pickup screws were too far apart, so the assembler put the screws in at an angle. This drove the pickups down into the cavity where they were jammed on the angled screws. I had to fill two holes with epoxy (one for each pickup) and re ...

After that and replacing the strings, I was able to play the bass. It sounds nice, but it feels every bit like a $90 bass. I improved the playability a little by sanding the neck and giving it four coats of danish oil followed by a good rubdown with a soft cloth. Bottom line, if you get lucky and get a good one, it's okay. Get a bad one and you will have to return it or fix it.

This review is AFTER doing a bit of work: With some slight adjustments to saddle length, height and truss rod tension, intonation is now very good and action much improved. Regarding electronics, had to angle the pick up further down, below the E string, as it was too boomy on lower frequencies, but it evened the audio level out ok with the other strings. Things to do are the easy bits such as; sm ...

I had ordered a Glarry Bass and the neck wasn't quite finished by the neck shaping machine. I repaired the neck myself and Glarry sent me $20 to cover my time and expense. Glarry has been very helpful and worked with me. I did not have time to return the bass as it was for my grandson for his birthday the day after I received the bass. I can't say enough good things about their customer service. I would not hesitate buying one of their guitars knowing they will go the extra mile to make it ri ...

This bass is great. There was something that was way off. First the tuners were installed in a hap hazard manner as shown by the picture below. Apparently the bass was hit in the factory before it was boxed up as the G tuner shaft was bent and the tuner was hitting the D tuner. You have since replaced the tuners but the installation in the head stock. The space between the tuners is hap hazard, from E to A, 1/4 inch, from A to D, 3/8 inch, and from D to G, 1/16 inch.inch. You can see in the ...

The Glarry Bass plays and sounds amazing. I plan to use it for recording my new "Delta" album for Spotify. I didn't have to do any luthier work to it, it was perfect as received! It's very light though strong enough not to bend when tuning the strings. The round-wound strings allow for sliding sounds and string slapping effects. It's a very nice bass.
