Great budget bass.I needed a cheap bass for the studio in case I needed to lay down some ideas and was blown away by the quality of this Glarry! It's pretty much a squire equivalent but a few pounds lighter! The action was even solid from the factory and it plays well. Definitely a good buy for a beginner or anyone who needs a cheap spare to fiddle around with.

Abolutely great bass guitar value.My first bass guitar, after playing 6 and 12 string acoustic and electric guitars for the past 60 years. I love this bass guitar! The fit and finish are excellent (I do a lot of woodworking and wood finishing and this guitar is a masterpiece!) I also do my own guitar set up work, and this bass guitar was needing - nothing! It sounds really great. It looks really great. Get it and you will love it!

Glarry Delivers a great beginner bass!When I got it a few days ago and opend the box which was vert well protected by the way, I was taken aback at the pure stature of this bass which is SOLID WOOD BASS BODY, NECK, HEAD STOCK, TUNE-PEGS, PICK-UPS, FRETS, right down to the TONE and VOLUME knobs.... impressive, she's well built and what a beginner as myself should be looking for in their 1st bass. Best Glarry instrument I've found.I'm a hobby guitar builder. I take cheap/used guitars and rebuild them into something I like. I've used various Glarry instruments for this as they are inexpensive and have a lot to offer for someone who wants to work on guitars. This particular Jazz Bass impressed me and is probably the best quality Glarry instrument I've purchased. That is not to say it doesn't have issues, but for the money, it could be a good beginner instrument. The neck isn't particular nice to the touch, but it's still playable. I'll be sanding this to my preferences as well as doing some light fret filing. However, it's worth noting these frets are in the best shape of any Glarry I've had....still a little rough, but no noticable sharp spots. The body condition is good and the bridge seems centered correctly along with the pickups. I'll be replacing both of these for myself, but they would be fine for a beginning player. The only real complaint I can find is the strings that come preinstalled are terrible. Very rough to the touch. Thought I might cut my fingers on them. Even if you change nothing else about the bass, these strings should be replaced. The cheapest Ernie Ball or D'Addario strings or any other major brand would be much, much better than these.

Great - a lovely beginners' instrument. Bought for our grandson for Christmas. He is a talented musician (drums and piano) and has just begun to play the bass guitar. He loved it. It was easy to tune and sounds good.

This GJazz bass is a very nice and playable instrument. It took some bridge adjustments to get it right. Its a real nice Jazz base and compares to one a lot more expensive! I've only had it under 2 weeks but It's going to be my number 1 bass! Good job Glarry!

Product arrived at my door within a week after purchase. The instrument did have a blemish in the finish above the pickguard but does not affect the functionality of it. The pickups are kind of weak. Tried several different cords with no change. Will be upgrading the pickups. Stays in tune well and is light weight which is a plus if playing a 3-4 hour show. I am very pleased with the instrument. Great value!

This is my first bass and I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get into the instrument. The price was big factor when I was searching for a bass and this one was extremely cheap compared to almost all other basses. I was weary of the price at first but after seeing a Youtuber use the bass, I decided to try it out. After raising the strings a bit and tuning, this bass was ready to go and I am very pleased with how it sounds and feels.

The bass was wrapped in protective wrapping and encased in a rigid styrofoam coffin type deal,then placed in a cardboard box.This bass can't be beat or even approcached for the price.Overall I'm extremely happy and satisfied.

This is my first bass and I am amazed by this thing I was gonna purchase one from a pricey company but I saw Charles Berthoud play this and he recommended it and when I saw the price I couldn't argue at all. I'm so happy with it after getting it professionally set up it's a dream I couldn't ask for a better beginner bass. Can't wait to start upgrading it!!!
