It really is a cool bass guitar. I've been a musician for 35 years. This bass is a great learner bass. I even hooked her up to my guitar/bass amp. It can have some buzz...I use a higher quality cord for it. Overall, the sound is rich enough to play like a pro in a smaller venue. And it looks wicked. Love it.

This bass is really nice looking, the build quality is very good. The setup was pretty close & was playable right out of the box. I had to tweak the truss rod and dial in the intonation, but the adjustments were minor. Pretty good usable tones from decent pickups. Well worth I paid. Get one.

Impressed.Needed very little work to get it into a smooth playing instrument. Rosewood fretboard was dry as a bone, but lemon oil cured that, Intonation, string height, all good. Fun to play out of the box and it's pretty.

quality as good as most similar very expensive items. I've been playing since 1985. It plays as well as any fender, hofner or rickenbacher. The price is untouchable.

Recieved 1 day early,body of guitar is mint,no scratches, I smoothed the neck with a nail buffer just my own preference to make it slide better, but for price, I am really impressed.required a basic set up out the box,string height needed small tweek, the model I recieved was a Glarry,also impressed. Bit light but really nice bass.excellent finish in the natural wood.great value.would reccomend this bass all day long.

Great guitar. I don't know a lot about guitars but this was bought for my partner and he loves it- it's a beautiful guitar, good quality but lightweight, plays well and also came with straps and a nice material case. Great price too

So, I returned it and bought an Ibanez short scales, which suits me better. If you are a beginner and have never played a guitar before you might well find this is fine for you. At the price it's a good quality piece of gear and if I could have got used to the scale length I would have kept it. It's not a Fender (and it doesn't cost like a Fender) but it's plenty good enough for playing for pleasure and even the odd gig. Recommended.

Outer packaging slightly damaged on delivery but no damage to bass. Beautiful instrument without any flaws or blemishes. Tuned easily and plays well straight out of the box. Good action, no buzzes, no sharp frets, knobs smooth and responsive. Light and well balanced. Couldn't be happier with it.

A beautiful guitar, no finish issues apart from a very minor gapping issue at the neck pocket (and that was just me wanting to find something). Fret polish, fretboard conditioned, action lowered (all expected), but didn't need any truss rod or intonation adjustments and the fretwork itself is spot on - I'm no bassist (yet) but it is a nice ...

Great bass for the money and, actually better quality than some name brand guitars I own. You might have to do a little setup but, that's often the case with a lot of new instruments. This bass actually played great out of the box and sounds pretty good. Glarry has always had great prices, fast shipping, and great after purchase customer service. My experience has been that if there is a problem, they will make it right.

After watching several UTube videos I decided to buy my first electric bass and chose the Glarry GIB 4 string. The frets were sharp so I am taking it to my local music store to have the frets filed and the strings changes and for them to properly set it up; meaning check the truss rod ...

came with in a few days. packaging could be better but did arrive safely. Nice bass very light . Needs to be set up to play. Well worth the money better than some other basses I have had. This is a bass I am using to mod so when I am finished I am sure it will be a one I shall keep. Nice one to learn with as standard though.

Better than expected, 15 minutes dialing in the action & intonation, no buzzing, plays great, finish is maybe a grade "B" but for the price it can't be beat. Shipping was almost immediate, & it arrived in perfect condition.

bought as a modding platform and it is a good bass. price can't be beat for a playable instrument. if you want to cut a body, drill holes, change out and practice soldering pots or do wiring this is a wonderful place to start a custom project.

i have an update review now, since the bass was broken with defects i was going to return when i contacted them they said i could return it or they would give me 95 dollars to fix the bass myself i decided to go for the 95 i just glued the nut back on and with a little bit of sand paper im shure i could get the neck dings out. the only thing i won't be able to correct is the chip in the finish but I really don't mind. over all it is a good bass for moding and with a little work you can have it p ...

I replaced the stock strings, which were not at all bad with flat wounds, I have played flat wounds for many years. I am very happy with the bass indeed. It really has the sound of more expensive P basses, and when i have used the combination of the P&J pickup it sounds great. The J pickup appears to be placed a little further away from the bridge ...

I will stick with the P, and the fact that I like modern looking basses for the folk music that I play. I can't be bothered with bannds who only want Fender on the headstock. Usually Bankers who can't play, and have more money than sense.

Amazing!! For the price you cannot beat it. Finish was good, stays in tune, etc. I'm more familiar with 6 string and wanted a beginner base. I would hands down buy again.
