A great deal for a bass. And a great deal for the price. For me it's a perfect learner bass in both how to play and how to upgrade an electric guitar. I don't have access to another bass so I can't really compare, but like other guitars I purchase for a lower price there is room for improvement to make playing easier. Nice bass, Looks great, played great after a tune up right out of the box. Very easy to play, great action and it has that precision bass sound. This is a quality guitar at an unbelievable price. I highly recommend this company and their instruments. Did I mention fast shipping too

Great bass, fast shipping to my home This bass plays and sounds like my American made 1974 left handed Fender P bass which it had to be ordered from Fender back then with a three month wait. Very happy with the product.

I have been playing about 60 years. 40 years on bass. I have owned a few bass guitars in my day. The bass I got from Garry's is beautiful. I played the bass right out the box. If I play the Glarry bass then my p bass or my Hofner bass, you would not be able to tell the difference. I like the deep bass sound. I lower the string, just because of my playing style. The neck is fast and the pickups are great. This is not my first buy from Grarys and will not be my last.

I was impressed by the finish of the guitar—the sunburst was pretty nice. I was happy with the stock pickups but I imagine that not everyone is or was as Glarry has released an upgraded model with better pickups. My only complaints were that the bass is very neck heavy, had very high action, and some sharp frets. This didn't bother me though as I know how to set up guitars and file fret ends, but beginners should be aware of these possible issues.

The build quality is very good. I did set up both instruments after checking them out. The relief was off a bit so I loosened the truss rod. Lowered the bridge; the action was a bit too high. I ordered it on the Sunday before Christmas and received it on Christmas Eve, very happy about that! The bass looks great and plays pretty good! The sound is pretty good too. Definitely worth the price, especially for a lefty! It is light weight yet well balanced for a beginner. It came pretty well set up, maybe the action was a bit too low, but the included allen wrenches can help with that adjustment (I would google how to setup a bass before making any adjustment). The only issue is a slight buzz when the tone is turned all the way treble, which is probably a bad ground or cold solder joint, but not bad enough to really complain. The gig bag and cord are useful for home/studio, but would not be good for any real gigging. Overall, I'm very satisfied, and my daughter loves it.

The action was smooth and amazingly low right out of the box, yet with no fret buzz anywhere along the fretboard. The lower weight makes is comfortably light, even though it is a standard long-scale 34" design. While the tone settings are understandably limited given that it is a split-coil P-bass pickup, it has a solid low-end sound with no unwanted surprise ...

This bass feels great. Frets were done well. I oiled the fretboard and greased the tuners. I really love playing this thing! It sings! The weight is light and balanced There were not any allen wrenches in the box. No sweat. I have some! All in all I couldn't have done better. This thing is a steal. I received my bass about a week ago and so far I have been very satisfied. This is my first bass and I have noticed nothing wrong with it. I was unfamiliar with this company before I order and was a little skeptical. However, my package arrived on time and in good condition. I am still shocked at how cheap this was! I love this bass. It came in securely packed, looking great, not a blemish on it anywhere. For the price at which these are selling, it's an almost unbelievable value. When I received the guitar, I took it completely apart. It had a bit of "fret sprout" which was easily remedied. I foil-lined all the cavities and the back of the pickguard. Next, I set the string height. At that point, all was well. Now I just need to learn to play bass!! But, thanks Glarry, I love this guitar.
