The bass came quickly and even before setup plays fairly well. There was a minor issue with the positioning of the pickups which Glarry Customer Service addressed quickly.

Originally I was sent a blue pbass, when I ordered a burlywood jazz bass. Although disappointed, after emailing the Glarry team, the bass I originally ordered arrived within a week, hassle free. The bass sounds good, and the amp is very acceptable for the price. You wouldn't be able to get an extremely noticeably better amp for less than $100. I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to learn bass without wanting to spend tons of money. Granted, finding an old used one might be cheaper, but it would be quite difficult to find it. Highly recommended.

Ok, So I needed a Bass and didn't have a whole lot of money at the moment. I have not played in years and am just now getting back into it. I told a couple friends I bought a Bass but would not tell them what kind or how much. I received the Bass very quickly, it was packaged very well and looked great. I even got a little practice amp for the price. I tuned it up and it had just a little fret buzz. I tweaked out the truss rod just a little and now it plays great. I still need to set the intonation and action a little but it is very playable and sounds great. I told my friends I spent $250 on this Bass and they thought I got a really good deal! Well you can imagine their surprise when I showed them the website and what it really cost. I thought it was funny because nobody would ever think that you can find a decent guitar at these prices. Well I think they will be ordering some guitars and I know that I will be too.

Amazing bass for the money I have played many usa custom made basses and I have yet to find much on this i would upgrade every fun to play enjoy the sound. Will be buying more in the future.

I heard so many good reviews on this affordable bass that I decided to try it. I played guitar and keyboard by ear. No formal training. Wanted to see if I could get some pleasure out of bass. This was what I would consider a good choice for a newbie. The Amp, although small in size give enough depth of sound to use as a home practice instrument and the package is well equipped for a low price. Have been contemplating buying one for a while. Pulled the trigger after many videos and blogs stating it was worth it. Ordered four string jazz with sunburst. Got here within the time frame they said. First glance of opening it, I said wow. It looked great. One thing that was said was it was neck heavy. Upon holding it, it does have some weight on the neck but the body weight was very good, seemed to balance it out. Neck was very smooth on the backside, no burs or knicks making it very quick. F ...

Fret board may need a little grease but that is common on a brand new board. Ok now for sound. After giving it a quick tuning we'll.... it sounds like a jazz bass. I did lower the action a bit with the hex key that was provided, Thank you! After that adjustment the buzzing and sound was solid. Knobs were loose but not a worn out loose. Amp sounds good for a small 10 watt amp. Everything else in box was up to par. Overall this to me seems as if it paid off. Good little bass, good sound, great weight and feel. After some time of messing around with this one I will definitely be looking into the 5 string version. Can't go wrong with either price. Thanks you Glarry for a solid product that's not going to break the bank!

Ok I just received my Glarry Jazz bass. First and foremost it looks great. Second and most importantly, the fret edges are smooth as butter. Amp is good. Little fret buzz but that can be fixed easy enough. Love it. Burlywood is the style I picked .

Get one! Sounds great, the pickups are easily the standout. Great sounding bass and playable. I also like the practice amp it came with, perfect for an apartment. If you want to start playing this is the way to go. The durability of the construction is somewhat questionable, about my only criticism. She might not be here for a long time, but she's here for a good time! Now if you'll excuse me I've got some funky jams to kick out!

Wanted an inexpensive bass and amp to play with my sons (guitar and drummer). Had to make some height adjustments to the strings to get rid of fret buzz. Amp was not working but after opening it up, found a connector unplugged to circuit board and that corrected the problem. Overall satisfied with bass and amp for the price. Can't wait to hear the tone with a better amp - not a lot of low end on this little one, but wouldn't expect anything different.

Okay, its very inexpensive. It looks very nice, ie, paint, frets, hardware. Heres the other edge of the sword. Mine arrived with action at the 12th fret almost 3/4 inch high. I had to remove the neck and finish leveling out the pocket where someone at the factory had started already. After that there was some fret filing, truss rod adjustments and saddle adjustments to make. For me, no big deal. For someone who has never done these tasks it would have been the end of the road. So far I have work ...

So far I have worked a bass and a 6 string guitar from Glarry. The parts and pieces make a decent instrument. If you have never worked on an instrument like this though, you'd probably give up unless your desire to play outweighed any flaws in your instrument. The pickups and electronics are cheesy, but record well. The finish is gorgeous. Fretwork is passable. Tuning keys, while not confidence inspiring, work well after you tighten them up. Bottom line, aimed at a market that will probably not continue on in their musical education. I am a 50 year plus veteran player and sometime luthier and this works well for me.

It's been 1 year since I bought the Jazz Bass set. It has worked PERFECTLY! I assumed that for the price the tuners would be cheap. The price was so low I decided to take a chance and buy it. It arrived on the day promised with NO damage. I took it out of the box and looked it over. It is beautiful. I tuned it up and plugged in the Amp. The hum is marginal at high volume and unnoticeable at low volume. I plan on searching out some mu metal tape to eliminate the interference some time in the future. I am VERY happy with my purchase and recommend the combo to any beginner.

I really wanted an acoustic guitar from glarry guitars as well but i had ordered a yamaha f335 instead. Even more surprising was everything was perfect the bass guitar was scratch free nothing was loose nothing broken or out of place no dents no bends this and that I guess those bad youtube reviews are from people who are used to playing on 100k gibson guitars. I mentioned the yamaha company because they are "supposed to be" pretty good brand and my guitar came in longer than expected which was expected but it had part of the wood on the body lifting and my glarry electric had arrived that same day as well and It too was in perfect condition just like my bass guitar and i couldn't help but think this company is even better than yamaha it delivers on time has great products and I have yet to see anything wrong with this company i highly recommend you buy from them. I've told my friends to buy as well you can't beat their prices and quality. Their slogan needs to be "I don't know how they do it". Thank you glarry guitars for making guitars great again.

I was able to play it after a bit of adjustment right out of the box, the amp that it came with sounded decently enough, and overall it sounds pretty good. Here are some caveats however. Let me be clear that I'm writing this from the viewpoint that this is aimed at those maybe wanting to get into the instrument for the first time with a fresh set of eyes. Immediately out of the box, it was out of tune, though that is to be expected. After tuning, I noticed a lot of rattling of the strings on the frets. This required a lot of adjustment of the truss rod, which beginners might not be aware of and might be discouraged thinking it was on them. Secondly, after playing and practicing for a while, the inner joint on my left index finger discovered that the frets are indeed quite sharp and protruding - enough to draw blood after a few slides. Would I recommend this to a friend? Sure, though I would also bear in mind the caveats listed above and wouldn't necessarily recommend playing as-is without a little bit of work put into it.

I bought this bass/amp combo for my son as a Christmas present. He hinted he would like a bass and since I didn't want to spend a lot on something he might never play this was perfect. It came just as described and was packaged very well. He tuned it after opening and was playing in just a few minutes. The finish looked nice, much nicer than I'd have expected for the money. He's hardly put it down since Christmas morning and really enjoys it !! I'm certainly no expert about musical instruments b ...
