Picked this guitar up for Nephew who is interested in learning to play guitar. For the price you can't beat it. after slight truss adjustment played very well. no sharp frets or fretbuzz. DUDE THIS GUITAR IS AMAZING!!!!!! I bought the sky blue one for my 12-year-old little sister who is interested in guitar. I didn't want to go and spend hundreds of dollars on a guitar she might never even play. This guitar came exactly when they said it would. Shipping went fine, no accidents or dings or damage to the box or guitar at all. Unlike many of the reviews I've seen the guitar came pretty playable out of the box. The action was set a little too low so there was a bit of buzzing right out of the box. I purchased this guitar and one other from Glarry expecting to use them as a kit build/redo because the price was cheaper than most kits out there. Fantastic guitar for the price! Needs setting up though. To start with a positive, the body was immaculate and the neck was perfectly straight. The guitar worked right away and did not have any electrical issues. As to expect from the price, I needed to dress the frets and file the nut slots. At first, I could not fit the wammy bar. Turns out there was debris in the slot so I had to retap it myself. After that, the bar fit nicely. I had to remove one of the springs for it to work though, as they ...

I received my electric guitar (yellow) fast. Upon opening package I found all items to be accounted for and no damage was noted. I immediately plugged in the guitar and tuned the strings. I was amazed by the sound. I measured the guitar against my Fender Tele and found out the size was the same as the tele. Easy to tune and play. I like the exceptionally light weight (that's why I bought this guitar), and tones from middle and neck pickup are nice. Problems include: sharp ends of the frets need to be filed down, fret heights are uneven so the frets need dressing (i.e., sanding) to avoid buzzing with strings at a reasonable height, bridge pickup is exceptionally harsh (I replaced it), neck is far too thick unless you have enormous hands (I wear large size men's gloves), and nut grooves bind strings and prevent proper tuni ...

Best budget guitar on the market. Surprising quality for the price. A very playable guitar with a very nice finish on the body. The maple neck is unfinished and a little rough to the touch. Hand sanding with 400 grit followed by rubbing in a little fret oil makes it smooth as silk. Excellent beginner guitar. Sufficiently packaged and protected. Not a scratch on the guitar! Slight neck adjustment needed and leveled the frets before applying Tru-Oil to the neck and headstock. Maple finish now looks beautiful. Frets came solidly installed with no burr. Neck pocket good. Guitar body good with nice paint and finish.
