The guitar I got is a good example.good action and string height but needed intonation.not a blemish anywhere. The tuners are surprisingly good and tight. The frets look like they've had a bit of a polish. All in all not bad.

Having just spent a couple of grand on Fender Telecasters, I decided to buy this as a "project" to update bits and pieces over the coming months. Firstly the blue burst finish is very nice, and I can't see any obvious flaws. It came with the strings tuned down a bit, which is good as there's not too much tension on the neck while it's being shipped. It came with the strings tuned down a bit, which is good as there's not too much tension on the neck while it's being shipped. Speaking of the strings, the set it came with are horrible, very rough - get yourself a decent set of strings and change them immediately (I believe these ship with 9 to 42). It will need a decent setup as the string action is very high. The neck and fingerboard are lightly finished, which I quite like. Can't see any twists on the neck, and the fingerboard is even. The fret ends are a little rough, but not too bad and easily dealt with using a bit of light emery paper, and they could do with a light polish. The tuners are ok, but I expect them to be the first thing I will change.

I recommend this guitar to others. Its clean, sounds good, the amp the has static in it. Got another amp now sounds really good. It is a must for beginners and up. Smooth paint. After you clean it up. Very nice. Thanks Glarry. My wife bought me another one from y'all. Lease threw y'all I can buy a few and don't break the bank.

The Bundle arrived with everything looking great. Be advised these guitars are " assembled ", there is no set up whatsoever, so you would need to add Set up to the cost, unless you can do this yourself. Cons: The Guitar neck was bowed quite badly, several Truss Rod adjustments over a few days helped, but I was never able to correct it. The "Action " needs adjustment,as does intonation. Amplifier had severe hum , checked connections all were good. Unplayable. Pros: ...

After notifying them of problems we came to a quick satisfying settlement, so if you do have problems they will look after you. For Beginners my advice, go to your local music store, buy a good used guitar and have them set it up for you. Glarry offers excellent value for money, with caveats noted. David.

Decent guitar is almost an exact copy of an 60s/70s Stratocaster. Beautiful finish is fairly soft and scratches easily, but it may not be completely cured. Strings are really awful - poor action and tone but a set of Ernie Ball Hybrids fixed noth issues. Tone is surprisingly good through all 3 pickups. Amplifier has decent sound and power but there's an odd hum at some, but not all, settings that may be coming from the amp, the guitar pickups or controls, the supplied cable (very cheap!), or the ...

Could be maybe just a little better but for a beginner guitar & amp package for the price it's about the best you're going to find. Even as you advance and learn how to play if you wanted to upgrade to a little higher quality guitar this one would still be a good one to keep around as a second backup gu ...
