This is a great value for beginners. Overall, the construction is a well made electric guitar. I would liked to had had one of these guitars when I was starting out. Youtube is full of helpful advice in setting up and tweaking this guitar to play well. The amp is adequate. All and all, Not Bad, BUT: 1) Buy a decent quality set of strings and put them on immediately! You will save yourself chasing down weird sounds. I used an ice pick and small hammer to get the small ball ends out. 2) A ...

My middle pick up made a lot of buzz noise when selected, so I wrapped a long bread type twist tie with enough bare around the adjusting screw and saddle to ground noise. 3) A capo, picks, guitar stand, etc...will be helpful.Customer service is not all that and the reason I am giving this a 4 star.

for all you newbies out there , once you change the strings, keep the low e string, the thickest one and cut it into about 4 or 5 pieces that are about 3 to 5 inches long and save those . then the next time you have to change the strings you can use one of those cut e string pieces to poke the little ring at the end of the string through the bridge

The guitar and amp are perfect, and amazing for the price, but the cable connecting the guitar to the amp could be better and may need replacement. Sadly the headphone jack also has to have the same kind of attachment as an amp cord, if that makes sense.

So I honestly got this cuz I hadn't owned a guitar in a very long time and this thing is very good I owned an old Ibanez that was black that mimicked this body style came in felt solid strings feel really good the amp is an amazing but it's definitely good enough if say someone is first starting or a good little travel amp this thing is perfect having an AUX port and a headphone port on it is great so far no issues cord doesn't seem to be the most expensive but so far hasn't given out on me quic ...
